Creating a Campaign

How to create a new campaign in Cool Popup and configure its domain, branding, and settings.

Create a new campaign

Open the campaign creation form

From the dashboard or the Campaigns page, click the Create campaign button. You can also create a campaign from the campaign detail page using the Create modal.

Set the campaign name

Enter a descriptive name for your campaign. This is for your reference only — visitors won't see it.

Choose the domain

Enter the website domain where notifications will be displayed (e.g., example.com).

If you've set up custom domains, you can select one from the dropdown instead of typing a domain manually.

Configure optional settings

  • Branding name & URL — Customize the "Powered by" attribution shown on notifications. Leave blank to use the default Cool Popup branding, or remove it entirely if your plan supports it.
  • Email reports — Select one or more notification handlers to receive periodic email reports about this campaign's performance.
  • Enabled — Toggle whether the campaign is active immediately after creation.

Save

Click Create to save the campaign. You'll be taken to the campaign detail page where you can start adding notifications.

After creating a campaign

Once your campaign is created, you'll typically want to:

  1. Add notifications to define what popups visitors will see.
  2. Install the pixel on your website so notifications start appearing.

The campaign must be enabled and have at least one enabled notification for popups to appear on your site.
