Team Management

Create teams, invite members, and collaborate on campaigns, domains, and notification handlers.

Overview

Cool Popup's team system lets you share access to your campaigns, domains, and notification handlers with other users. You create a team, invite members by email, and control exactly what each member can do.

Team hub

The Teams page is your starting point. It shows two sections:

  • My Teams — Teams you own and manage
  • Teams I'm a Member Of — Teams others have invited you to join

Creating a team

Navigate to Teams

Go to Teams in the main navigation and click Create team.

Name your team

Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Marketing" or "Client - Acme Corp"). Click Create to save.

Invite members

Open the team and click Add member. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and set their permissions (see Permissions & Delegation for details).

The invited user will receive an email with a link to join the team. If they don't have a Cool Popup account yet, they'll be prompted to create one.

Team detail page

When you open a team, you'll see four tabs:

TabContent
MembersList of invited and active members with their permission badges and status (pending/accepted)
CampaignsCampaigns delegated to this team — members can access these campaigns based on their permissions
DomainsDomains delegated to this team
Notification HandlersHandlers delegated to this team

Accepting a team invitation

When someone invites you to a team, you'll see it listed under Teams I'm a Member Of with a Pending status. Click the dropdown and select Join to accept the invitation.

Switching to a team context

After joining a team, you can Login as the team to switch your dashboard context. When operating under a team:

  • You only see campaigns, domains, and handlers that have been delegated to your team
  • Actions you take are governed by your permission level
  • The dashboard header shows which team context you're operating in

To switch back, use the team context switcher in the navigation.

Plan limits

Your plan determines the maximum number of teams and team members you can have. Check the Plans & Pricing page for details.
